Professional Training Curriculum

MASSAGE  TRAINING

1.  WHOLE  BODY  MASSAGE  
     Starting with legs and feet, client lies on the massage table, face down.  
     Back and shoulders.  
     Neck and arms, hands.  
     Client turns over, lying now on his back:  
     Neck and head.  
     Chest, arms, belly.  
     Legs and feet.

Special attention on: breathing, sensitive areas, skin condition and clients need

2   FOOT  MASSAGE  
     Learning about reflexology points in the soles of the feet and around toes and ankles.
    Foot baths in hot water with salt, flower baths.  
     Oily foot massages.  

3.  HEAD  MASSAGE  
     For relief of tensions, relaxation and empowering a persons mental focus.  
     Specific holds and energy transfer. Polarity.  

4.  FACIAL  
     Specific training for the cleansing of facial skin with products like clay and Lulur. 
     Specific massage strokes. What products to use.

5.  BODY  SCRUB  
     Known in Indonesia as Mandi Lulur, Mandi Rempah, atau Mandi Susu…
     You learn about products. For what person/type what product.  
     Specific ways of applying lulur and massage.  
     Cleansing of the skin.

SPA  MANAGEMENT    

1.  SPA  PRODUCTS     
      Learn about the different products used in a Spa.  
      Products for Mandi, for Massage, for scrubbing, essentials oils.  
      Aroma oils and Aroma Therapy.  
      Products to use for treatments: roots and sponges, incense etc.  
      Learn how to make your own products, tinctures and oils.

2.  SPA  INTERIEUR  
     Setting up a Spa. Furniture and atmosphere.  
     Lay out and measurements.        
     Treatment  tools. Massage tables, Facial chairs, cream bath chairs.  
     Booking and reception area.  
     Bath tubs, Jacuzzi, Mandi area.

3.  SPA  TREATMENTS  
     How to receive clients, and how to treat and guide through treatments.  
     Learn to apply Mandi Lulur,  many varieties of body scrubbing.  
     Practice Massage techniques and other treatments.  
     Learn cosmetic treatments, like facials, cream bath, manicure and pedicure.  
     Prepare juices and herbal teas for clients, select fruits and prepare.

4.  OPERATION OF SPA  
     How to find the right location for a Spa.  
     Different ways of operation: Outlet of a Hotel, Franchising, contracting or running it 
     as your own business.  
     Calculation and perspectives.  
     Selecting your employees and finding out how many workers you need.  
     Legal business. For you and your employees.  
     Insurances for your business and for your clients.  
     Book keeping and taxes. 
     Investments.
